We understand how challenging it can be to learn and speak English fluently—especially when you're doing it on your own. That’s exactly how our co-founder, James Liu, felt when he was learning English. His journey inspired the creation of BestMyLingo: a platform designed to give English learners the tools, support, and confidence they need. Back when James was learning, there were no all-in-one resources to practice listening, speaking, vocabulary, and everyday communication skills. So, he teamed up with his business partner, Ron Ross, to build the kind of platform he wished he had.
What Makes Us Different?
We care deeply because we've been in your shoes. James struggled with English in the beginning too, so we know how important it is to feel supported and to use tools that really work. Our lessons are interactive, our vocabulary builder is adaptive, and our speaking and listening exercises are grounded in real-life situations. James and Ron had many opportunities to explore different ventures, but they were passionate about helping people. James noticed a huge gap in practical English learning tools—resources focused on communication. That’s when they decided to build a platform focused on helping people speak English naturally and confidently in any setting—work, study, travel, or daily life.
